SEPTEMBER 2021

Dear Parents.

Welcome back to Kid Dance Caravan (KDC). We are excited to finally be back in our schools and twirling with our dancing superstars. With the ongoing coronavirus KDC will be taking extra precautions for our classes. Each one of our staff is vaccinated and self tests every week. We will be combining classes where needed and keeping a distance from each of the children. Taking their safety into our only consideration we may host our recitals virtually. We will videotape them in class and edit together a dance recital video that will be shared with all the dance families. We hope come the spring we can host our recitals outside. With virtual recitals comes the struggle to keep our costumes clean/disinfected which we have decided to hold off on using until the appropriate time. We welcome our dance friends to wear any dance attire they choose and Miss Kelsey will be gifting them with a T-Shirt they will wear and keep as a costume replacement.

We want to be back 100% in the swing of things and the only way to do so is to go slowly. Thank you for your understanding in all of this and coming along this new journey with us. We cannot wait to tap our toes with our young ones soon!

At Kid Dance Caravan (KDC), the health and well-being of your children is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our customers. 

With the risk of COVID-19 in our area, we would like to inform everyone of the steps and policies KDC will be adopting to assure maximum cleanliness and slow the spread of the virus. 

 

DANCE CLASSES:

- As long as the school/daycare is open KDC will be holding classes.

- We will take all hygienic precautions: e.g. no stamps, no props will be used during class.

-Teachers will all be vaccinated and will continue to wear a mask and will sanitize themselves and anything that anyone comes into contact with. 

 

BEFORE COMING TO THE SCHOOL/DAYCARE: 
- If you or your children are exhibiting signs of illness, please do not attend your lesson. This is not limited to signs of COVID-19, but any symptom of illness. The same will hold true for our KDC instructors
- If you or anyone in your household has travelled internationally in the last 14 days, please refrain from bringing them to class. Please see the CDC's list of travel precautions here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/after-travel-precautions.html
